To new no picture maybe i will get on the ball and post a pic soon.
Also I find it kind of hard to get the gist of how the threads are playing out so I'm not sure when to jump in.
Don't want to get flamed right off the real so i have been lurking.
It is fun just to read the posts I have never been to a forum like this and i find it fascinating.

I would think the guy should pay for the drink or at least say up front dutch treat. So that there is no awkward moment to happen between you. I did go on one date with a guy and no sparks but I have to say he is the sweetest guy to talk to and we are friends. And I hope for a long time to come. I so enjoyed my time with him it was nice!

hey guys...thank you all for your input...i appreciate it...in all fairness he did send me am e mail and apoligize..but a leopard does not change his spots..i felt so bad i had to tell him how i felt......ladis it's not the 6 dopllar drink....the whole thing says so much more about the man and how you're going to be treated..i can buy my own drinks but that's not the point...............i've been on this site only about 3weeks..thought it was pretty good had a date already ....but allof you who haven't SOMETIMES YOU'RE BETTER OFF....these dating sites........frankly i'd rather meet someone in a bar...see what i'm getting right up front

I've met a few men from this site and a couple from other sites, some dates where good and some were bad. For me the whole purpose is to meet someone I can enjoy spending time with and hopefully one day I'll meet the man who will rock my world.
As far as who should pay I think the guy should pay on the first date if he invites you out, unless it was agreed upon to go dutch. However, I probably wouldn't go out with someone who asked for me to pay my own way. I can see if you are dating for awhile it's only fair to take turns paying.::zen:

My point is:
Most of the men say no action. Most of the women also say so. However, there is a small group, majority women, who say all is lovely and mates are there. HELP ME people??? there is very little action to meet on this site for men . My question is WHY?

john- seriously,the numbers just aren't there.i search and get 60+ females in y age group within about an hours drive. if i do the same on match...for instance..... i would get 10 or 20 times as many. there are many long distance matches.figure on covering the entire us....based on people who post in the forums.....you get the idea.
angie..... i didn't say how far.how can that be too far
