try doing something you like to do. Volunteer with church, old people young people animals. Time is about the only thing that heals. Sorry it is old saying but have found it to be true. The only question is how long to you wish to stay down. It took me a year after the first divorce. and I could not wait for the second divorce to be finnialized.

I was recently told the best way to get over someone was to get under someone else! I'm sure it doesn't always work but you never know!

No a broken heart never mends, and yes getting under someone else is good even if it is just a close freindship or dating. you are going through a tuf time right now so be careful not to get to close to get hurt again, so take it slow, and keep in mind that this relationship may not last, knowing this will help you along, share this new freindship as just that a new freindship. When you start thinking of were you went wrong, stop and take 3 steps back and say "LET IT GO" 9 times out of 10 you already made that mistake, stop don't make it agin. keeping your mind on this new freindship will help take your mind off the old. Mind you help, not cure.

I would suggest you consider the reasons why you broke up...think about the pain you felt and still feel, and then understand and believe you deserve better and the relationship maybe wasn't so great. If two people really care for each other, they should be able to communicate, express those feelings about the issues which are causing friction...and work together to correct them. If two people really care, that should be easy. When the problem cannot be resolved...then you really didn't belong together in the first place. We are not perfect...and if we can't except those faults others might have and maintain working for the common good and well being of each other....than its time to move on. The real problem you might be having and whats holding you back from that might very well be you're not being honest with yourself. When its not right and you can't resolve issues...its time to move on and find someone who is going to make the effort you are willing to make. Just be happy! Things work out in the end.

No matter what u do you will always think of that person, even if your with someone else. the only thing that will help is time, as time goes on that person will mean less and less to you. this process can take a few weeks, maybe months or sometimes years depending on u as an individual. To date someone else to get over another is not the way to go. But I would advise u to fall in love with yourself, join a gym work out especially when thinking. Get together with friends and family. Give your self an upgrade finally work on things you want to change about your self. Work on building self confidence. By working out you'll not only feel better you'll look better causing heads to turn. Work on your image and never forget who is more important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU

I think time is indeed the medicine here. In the mean time, do the Dali Lama thing- "its okay to lose, just don't lose the lesson". Figuring out the part we played in our own situation is the silver lining in the cloud. Treat yourself well.
