Of course there are LOTS of things that completely suck about being single.... but what is one thing that you miss the most about being in a relationship?
mine is just plain lonliness. i have a million friends but there is just something about that one person that fullfills a part of your soul that your friends just can't reach no matter how hard they try.
it really is the little things that matter. you don't realize how lonely it can get until you can't have something simple because your single at the time. like... i have a college reunion to go to saturday and I don't want to go alone b/c im 25 and everyone else I know is married. im like... the 17th wheel... haha...
stuff like that gets me down.
but i pick myself up !!! everytime...
i just wish someone else would pick me up for a change LOL
(did that sound dirty or is it just me?)

I am comfortable with being single, but I am old, not too old, but children are grown and doing there on thing. I have been single for about 10 years.
There are a couple of things I miss though. Someone to motivate me. To get the things done that I need to finish up. To be along beside me, to help me with those small projects. To give me their opinion and knowledge when I am doing something I have no idea where to start, to share that knowledge with me, not ridicule me because I haven't had the opportunity to learn it yet,or I screw up while trying.
I also miss just jumping up and going somewhere, just go, nothing fancy or planned.
That is probably what I miss more than anything. A companion, one that is compatible.
I often remember the movie "Driving Miss Daisy". I can relate to that.
I need a Morgan Freeman.

I can relate to all the above, lol. Now maybe not on the project, because Billy could really, really, mess it up. laughing, Miss the hugs, the silliness, walks in the pasture mmmmm. Not Holding the one your with so close you can feel there heart beat, wispering in there hear that you love them or apreciate them so much that they make you so happy.. having that empty lonely feeling inside the one where you stare at the dark chelling at night wondering what happend....... that really sucks

The worst thing about being single is trying to weed through all the fake, selfish females to find 1 genuine down to earth female. seriously. The singles game is horrible right now from my experience. All the women i have met seem to be hopping from guy to guy. It is hard to find a chick right now that is not a total slut that is around my age range. I know it sounds harsh...But all the women I have met seem to want jump right up on it. I'm not complaining, But then it always turns into a sexual relationship and I am having trouble finding something meaningful. I was seperated in feb. and was married for 5 years...and the last few months it has been really tough because every girl i have met has really not impressed me at all.

The arguements about the toilelseat.The smell and feel of thier skin.The look of pride in thier eyes,The burnt food,The calls asking "What are you up to",Thier breath on your neck,The feel of thier hand in yours,The talk over coffee or hot coacoa in the morning(w/e they drink)(I drink coffee).

But I do like the single life. I do, I do, I do.
I have friends been married for 40 years and they still argue too much, or just don't talk. Still not happy campers........ just seem to be stuck.
But of course if your young and want children, yep I would understand why you would want a life partner.
