hey im not controlling, i like it when i can help out someone it makes me feel good that ive helped someone out but when someone is independent then its like i cant do anything for them it sucks. i guess i like to take care of the person im with i dunno

Needed or used? Independent is the only way to be for everyones sanity!
You need to find a woman who can balance your needs with her own... struggling to find that balance myself! I have never been one to accept help easily.

I would run like the wind if a lady was dependant on me...she needs to be dependant on herself and no other...if she cannot do that, then I will have no interest....period

Me personally, I love the independant woman. But like Darth says, it does make a man feel good to be needed. I will take a woman that is independant anyday cause then you don't have to worry about them while you are at work, running errands, etc.

Unfortunately I have found that alot of women that are independant think they are out of my league. I have also found that women I have dated or lady friends that I have that I don't actually date, seem to appreciate things more. Not always the case though. I did find one lady that made $60,000+ a year. Very nice lady. Very appreciative, and you'd never know by her attitude that she was doing so well. Very down to earth.

i think unless you're a really successful woman you have to depend on your partner because hell the price of living is sky high nowadays so unless your a lawyer or u have a really good paying job you need someone else to help you out. i know people can do it on their own but its hard so depending on someone else to help pay rent or whatever is ok. right?
thats talkin bout the money side of things
but about the emotional side i only like clingy chicks sometimes lol when im in the mood to do the lovey dovey stuff im cool with it but when im watchin the eagles beat up on the cowboys i dont wanna be bothered lol.

I'm just sayin men should be going for hte independant women they have more to offer and are not as needy but then so far all I've seen is men who want dependant women, independant women scare em off. I'm very independant hey maybe thats why I'm still single lol

i agree if a man wants a woman to be dependent on him,he is the controlling type.dependent women tend to be clingy and needy......BIG turnoff.independent women have needs too but not the same.their basic needs are covered and little things mean a lot.

Honestly, like the financial aspect... its give and take. When one is having a bad day the other should be supportive and vice versa. If you are in love then just showing your affection on a regular basis is a given.
