Just wanted everyone to sit back and ignore the games, jokes and fun for once here and give time to remember our loved one's we've lost. I've lost some very good friends this year that influenced my life and would never be who I am if it wasn't for them. Sorry for posting a serious thread but we really need to reflect about life and what's really important to us aside from this virtual bullshit...Thanks, ... Lew

My mother passed 3 weeks after I turned 18..and we nearly lost my oldest brother this past sept. gave us quite a scare, had a dissecting aortic aneurysm..but thanks to medical science and quick thinking..he's still with us.

There is not a day goes by that I don't pause and think about loved ones , either that have passed or are still here. Either way, they are in my heart ..always with me.
Thank you for this brief pause in the hustle and bustle of life for the reminder that there are more important things than cyber wars..

I just lost my uncle this morning, he was in his 80s and very poor health. Even tho it is sad - it was a blessing. He had a full life and now he is with his wife.. Nothing more needs to be said.

thanks & peace

Thanks Lew, I totally agree. This year was a rough one for losses. Not as bad as two years ago when I lost my oldest son, but still rough. We just have to be greatful for the years we had them with us. Celebrate their lives, speak of them often, for as long as we don't forget, they live on forever.

So sorry for your loss Landing...........I think way too many of us understand the feeling. Yesterday was the 22nd anniversiary of my Dad's passing.........too often do we forget to say the little things like "I love you" or " I appreciate you".........thanks Lew for reminding us. BTW.........let me say I love & appreciate ya'll who are close to me........couldn't have made it without you.

Nice thread Lew. I think of my uncle who took his own life a couple of years ago he was a great man - a huge loss and it makes me think of my second Mom who called me Sunday to tell me her cancer is growing and she has 3 - 6 months left.
