You can get nine (9) 4" x 4" Squares from 1.11 Sq. Ft.
You're gonna have a little left over around the edges though.

How many pieces of 4.0 wide 4.0 length out of 1.11 sq..feet you can get? I come up with 4 pieces but could be wrong. So if anyone can set down and see what they get I would appreciate at it! Thank you. The package is 1.11sq. feet so how many pieces in the package if there 4.0 by 4.0.

One square ft. is 12" squared, or 12" x 12" equating to 144".
144 Sq. Inches divided by 16 Square Inches is nine (9).
The (.11) is just excess and is not devisable by 16 and not relevant as I understood the question.

since you don't say what units the 4.0 is then I don't know if it's 4 inches or what? Assuming that it is 4 inches x 4 inches and you are trying to put it in a 12" X 12" square you will have 3 pieces x 3 piece... 9 pieces of 4 inch x 4 inch squares.

I was confused to, but then she said it was tile. The standard ceramic tile is about 4" Must be decorative tile for trim/borders etc if it only covers 1' sq

Newer homes are using larger tile on walls but older homes and some new ones use the 4" tile on walls in baths and showers. I've built a few showers with 4" tile and had to do one with a wainscoting using a diamond pattern of travertine tile. Wish I had made pictures of them but for some reason just didn't do it. I usually take lots of pictures of my work on about all construction jobs.

Well I have decide do to go the other route. I'm going to set sheet metal back splash. It will cost more but theirs enough sheet metal that I will half to cut some off. It's around 150.00 bucks. Since my walls in the kitchen are a yellow cream color and my cabinets are a medium cherry color I figure I go for a more of a dark back splash color to bring out the kitchen. The one I'm looking at is a dark cherry color with black in it. Looks like wood but in a dark cherry brown looking color. Because if I go for a light color then it will just blend in but if I go for a darker color it will make everything stand out. What do ya'll think?

I've changed my mind once again lmfao. Just like us women! Forever changing are minds. I found what I want. O by the way I got my top cabinets done. I already put the stain on them.(cherry) I had sanded them down put the poly on there re sanded and put the poly back on. I tell you there is no one who can do it better than me! lol I am the PRO... One thing I do not do is plumbing and ele. 2 reasons why:1. I'll be fried. 2 I mite get stuck somewere down the line! Anything else, well if I haven't done it before just hold your breath like hell and pray I don't mess it up!
