Only two styles are a huge turnoff, the horrific comb-over and the unbelievable toupee. Puh-leeze. Go for bald. Bald is better!
As for women. My hair is short and when a man pulls my hair at that particular moment...ahhhhhh! Wouldn't complain if he made me bald...

See for me personally, I've decided to let my hair grow out because I don't want to look back when I'm like 50 and bald and wish, "gee It'd be nice if I'd have let my hair grow out long." I've been told my head is better shaped for short hair, but I just like the feeling of long hair, especially on a warm windy day. The toughest point is that sort of mid length where it's too short to pull back and just long enough to get in your face. I agree with most people here. Once it starts to really fall out, I'm just gonna go CasterTroy on it.  Figure for the time being though I might as well let it grow out. Worst comes to worst, I'll donate it to locks of love, which just in case people haven't heard of them, here's their website. http://locksoflove.org/
As far as women are concerned? I personally can go either way on that one, as some women can definately pull off the "I'm so sexy, I don't even need hair!" look, while a nice long head of hair can also be kind of erotic as well. Just this last week, my little cousin was in town and she asked me "How come you have long hair like a girl?" (She's five by the way). It's amazing how hung up we get as a society on outward appearance. And I'm just as guilty as the next person if not more so, but it's still kind of sad. That's my take on all of this at least. And now, for your viewing pleasure. The Viena boys choir will form a mosh pit and head bang with their long hair.
