i have some recording eqptmnt and some instruments and have recorded some stuff, only me playing, i could use some more sounds. i have two ge tars and an electric piano. i use a p.c. to record, and would love if someone would come over and play some on the instrument s i have, let me record, and then try to put some music together. and if someone wants to find someone to record some of their music , my recording capabilities are limited, one instrument at a time, but maybe i could help you . i can record voice too.

how is your room set up?

if youre going to be seruious about it here is just the tip of the iceberg

                isolate the room

dont have hard walls(have like a blanket or something covering them) so the sound doesnt resinate or echo

do not place 2 outlets next to eachother or parallel on opposite walls

its best not to have a room with 4 corners and perfect 90 degree angles

install acoustic sound barrier wall and ceiling panels, the pyramid 2ftx2ft open cell poluurethane foam works best

coverage is key, not location, the more you have in the recording room the better sound quality you will get

as far as software goes try getting sony acid or adobe audition

sounds like you know alot about this subject. i am not very knowledgeful/able about it, i just have a computer and some instruments, and i know i can record one instrument at a time. i could record simultaneous instruments, but i need a couple more cords and attachments. i might try to get those programs, if i can find them i might take them.
