Sometimes when I see these threads on a datesite I think "How Cheesy". But I know I have close friends here and would like to ask you all to pray for my aunt. She has Stage 2 breast cancer. She will have to have one of her breast removed and chemo.
Her and my uncle just retired, they are wealthy and was looking forward to RVing around the country.
So please pray, light a candle, think good thoughts or whatever it is you do. I know all people are not Christian and do not pray but I do. I feel anything you would do would be helpful and appreciated by me.

My aunt is absolutely beautiful. She looks just like the lady that played Wonder Woman. When I was a little girl Wonder Woman was my idol. I was always jealous of my aunt for looking like her!lol
Apparently she knew before we had our family Christmas dinner. On the way to get the food my other aunt said Shirley cried the whole way there and back. Most of us just found out today.

Hey Amy my boss's wife had breast cancer over 20 years ago, went through surgeries and all necessary treatments and she has been cancer free ever since-it definitely CAN happen!!

That's great! My great aunt when through the same thing years ago and she is cancer free now as well. I know not only the diagnosis itself is killing her emotionally but the physical part as well. Breasts are well...part of us and part of our femininity. I hope she makes it through the emotional part as well. I don't know that I would be that strong.

I will certainly say a prayer for Aunt Shirley, I know this is a hard time for her and
her spouse and the family especially at a time that is supposed to be the golden years.
I can relate to your hesitance, especially being new I was tempted not to request prayer
for my former student but I really felt he needed all the prayers he could get and so I
took a risk and got great response. I believe that one prayer is mighty but many prayers
can bring the miracle we are all secretly hoping for when tragedy strikes.
