I did have such an adverture and my faith in people was renewed. I hiked for 4 hrs. mostly up hill on the ridge tops and ended up at the location of an old fire tower called Woods Mountain Lookout on a beautiful Sept. Night. I had a fire for 5 hrs. from wood someone else had gathered ...This saved me from the Darkness until my rescuers came and we walked/rode fourwheelers out about 3 miles. I had walked about 6 miles from a different direction...when we got to the base camp it looked like a verizon commercial...I felt so embarrassed that I had cause so much troble but I also felt so blessed by these fine folk in my community.
