Public betting and gambling is illegal without a permit.
Across state lines -makes it federal offense-felony
Via the is over the wire, involves FCC regulations-felony
And in an ongoing election it is considered salting the election-felony
Food for thought............and posted in public at that

Have to agree with the losers because is far to corrupt for anything to be better for the people. Also a president does not have enough power to force his will because of congress and courts. So whoever gets it will not change anything.

Good to see some of you folks get it! The prez does have VERY LIMITED power. The prez, when in concert with congress, CAN screw things up in a hurry. These people (politicians) will promise anybody anything because they know there are enough fools out their that will continue to buy their lies. And unfortunately, even most of the Republican candidates are too far to the left to save this country.
To quote Ronald Reagan; "Government isn't the answer to our problems, government IS the problem!" The last HONEST president this country will probably ever have!

I was wrong again, he may have been ahead with my one vote, but in the final results he lost. But even then I still won because I voted. I don't know if you people are farmilar with N.H., but they had a vote yesterday. You got to vote for 1 cat out of 3 and the winner was going to stay with them on top of Mount Washington. 8,000 people voted in the cat race. Sunny

You guys are so right !!!
Hillary said "I have to take from some so I can give to others".
Now, I tell you I don't think that theory is provided for in our constitution. Sounds more like from the communist manifesto.
PS....I'v ridden the Cog train to Mt Washington......great place to visit.
spent my summers at Lake Winnipausaukee (sp) LOL

I heard that Hillary had bussed tons of Democrats in from New York to skew things in her favor. Considering more people live in Brooklyn, NY than the entire state of NH, and knowing the tactics of the Clintons, that would not surprise me. Anyone else hear that?

Justed;
There are certain truths that are true no matter how much we may deny them.
In the economic realm, for instance, you cannot legislate the poor into independence by legislating the wealthy out of it.
You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
Government cannot give to people what it does not first take away from people.
And that which one man receives without working for, another man must work for without receiving.
Just thought I would add that because it fit your thread.
That was a quote by Kenneth W. Sollitt

Didn't hear or read that, Hodag, but I've thought it everytime I've seen these idiots waving their flags around and acting like they've had too many bubbles...Can you tell me why they get to vote in the evening after Happy Hour has come to an end?
