When you can drive 30 minutes in any direction in PA and see a sign that says "Village of Fred" or "Welcome to Harriett" or "Seymour"....and only see 3 houses....you feel like you're in an 80's Stephen King novel. Elkland is actually a big town (borough) in the middle of nowhere. Well over 1,000 people.
