There should be a hold on when a new member can start posting. This will help limit someone from coming in and harassing members and inciting chaos in the threads.
They will have time to read the rules and watch to see how the forums work. Some how we need to get everyone to read the rules to the forums.
I think this will help limit some of the ridiculous threads.
I think it will make their membership worth more. Mean more to them.
It may help curb those that come here just to harass.
May be they could be allowed to post only in the introduction forums. That way they can still participate in some way.
I've seen this on other sites and their forums seem to run a little smoother. Just trying to help.

this is a free site--and 90% don't know the rules etc--should they yes--but perhaps you be the DU police here---lol-i vote for you esp if you come in at 1 of the 10 that do--kidding...maybe dustin could hire monitors (give them some rights)who have his power to delete or suspend profiles if be...we should have one more request--no pic -no profile--we're in the jetson age not the flintstone age and everyone should know how to upload a photo esp the younger ones--a PC or laptop have come a long way baby they say--that is what is lacking here--internet knowledge...some people experience one day here and are gone the next--there is also a way to flag anything--and who can prevent trolls coming on here any way--maybe even people with pics on here are fake too...just don't feed trolls
