***You are a Self-Discoverer***
You're not religious, but you've created your own kind of spirituality.
Introspective and thoughtful, you tend to look inward for the divine.
You are distrusting of all forms of organized religion.
You especially dislike religious gurus and leaders, who you feel are charlatans.

I don't neccessarily agree with #3 ..I trust some forms of organized religion, including my own; Judaism..the reason I do not practice it on a day to day basis is I believe it should be all or none. Follow only the strictest rules as the Orthodox do..or none at all. In the attempt to modernize the religion , bring into terms people of this century can understand, it is being watered down, certain rules are being bent ie) observing the sabbath --one rule is on the Sabbath..no work is to be done except to study the Torah..God's word..
Due to modern necessities of life , I am unable to avoid working the weekends, if I want to continue to pay bills and support myself.
I dont think I could follow my religion to the extreme..so I do not try..I carry on a few of the traditions..as it keeps my family together..but that is as far as I will go..I think it should be all or none..and as I am not willing to devote my life in that way, that is why I choose a more spiritual path-one that keeps me in tune with a Higher Power..on my own terms..not as dictated by a religious leader.

I simply would not sit a test of that calibre whatsoever. Why would I want to sit a questionaire composed from humans to tell me who I truly am. I know who I am. I know what my philosphy is!! Sdcentaur are you saying someome must tell us our philosophy in order for us to believe it?.

Well, they got it half right. I do believe and my convictions are strong, however I certainly do NOT think my religion "is the one true way, for everyone." I leave those feelings for the zealots.

My mom no doubt just had a fatal heart attack and is prostrate and weeping to discover that her daughter is:
You're not sure if God exists, and you don't care.
For you, there's no true way to figure out the divine.
You rather focus on what you can control - your own life.
And you tend to resent when others "sell" religion to you.
And yeah that sums me up really well....
but I do enjoy Catholic mass at Christmas and deaths - it is truly beautiful and soul enriching.
I think my feelings come from being forced all my life to perform in doctrinated religion by peer pressure and parental pressure....
Now I'm just trying to figure me out - and not WHO made the world the way it is. We did that!
f*ck her? No don't

Drummr ---- sad to say I did see it, I guess I just don't have a head for things not said by real people vs a show of some sort, unless I've seen it a gazillion times lol.

Have to agree with you NewLife...these are MY beliefs, and I don't push them on anyone. Willing to share if asked, but not out to "sell" my beliefs.
