..and what do you think?
A rival site is running a commercial on TV that states 1 in 5 relationships these days originate on-line. Does that mirror your own experience, do you even believe the stat, or are you not surprised?
Oh, and does it make 'ya feel any better about the time you spend here and/or on other sites?

I can see some credence in it. I mean, how many people actually meet each other at the local Dairy Queen anymore?

I believe the commercial...actually I am surprised that it isn't more. It can be a great way to meet people. As far as it being any more dangerous than other ways of meeting people I think as long as you use a little common sense it's probably no more dangerous than chance encounters. as far as DH goes, I don't really consider it a dating site. The creator's idea was awesome but I find most people are on here for the forums and aren't really looking to meet anyone.

highly dubious of that considering I've also seen that 95% of the men on the internet browse for illicit materials.
Ask any guy here, they'll deny it. Therefore the internet must always be wrong right?
I'M SO CONFUSED!! It's no wonder that the HAL 9000 went insane.

Hmm, sounds to me like that rival may just be inflating the numbers a bit.

Almost all of them.
Just today I went to Starbucks and had to walk over all the dead, dismembered and mutilated bodies of men and women who had online meets there.

Commercials for one dating site says they have over 200,000 People join each day. If that were the case it I ought to be able to step out my front door, throw a rock and hit one of them.
