I long for spring, too. I love the smell of the dirt when you first start working it up...it smells like spring. It smells like childhood.
I don't think we have buntings here. Or I don't know what they are. We are way to close to you to not have the same birds.
I love to go through Marshall. I go that way to reletives in Salisbury. Been through there about a million times.

Thank You Jennie, Indigo Buntings are those very pretty small blue birds, In the shade they look to be purple in the sun they are a flash of aqua or turquoise. Very pretty however they dont like to be around where people are so will naturally stay in the more secluded areas. You will sometimes surprise them on a country road or lane. When I see one it always brings a jolt of joy to my mind and heart. I call it a Zap of happy. lol
