I agree...the Spaghetti Warehouse is great. I also love Carabas for Italian food. And...the Cheesecake Factory is awesome.

The Hot Dog Diner on Brookpark Rd. is a great place for cheap food.
Goodman's Sandwich Inn at Pearl-Brook is a great place for Corned Beef and Pastrami.

The Coccia House, Wooster. Authentic Italian food prepared with much love by the Calabria family for 4 generations. Two Thumbs Up.

ACK!!! I went to Caraba's once, it was wretched.
I had spaghetti and it was entirely too runny, more like Spaghetti soup.
Never went back.

Never been to the spaghetti warehouse, they have one here too.
Or at least they used to, dunno the Flats is a ghost town now.

Maria’s Roman Room on Detroit road in Lakewood has the best Carbonara that I've found in all of Cleveland, actually the only Carbonara I've found in Cleveland.

Klucks on 117th has closed and a new Mexican restaurant opened called El Jalapeños.
I tried it and it was fairly good, at least a lot better than Klucks was.

I was never really into food all that much till I started getting older but now I appreciate it a lot more.

I understand that Slyman's Deli is outrageously popular for the downtown crowd.
http://www.slymans.com/
I went there once but was in too big of a rush to take too much notice of the food but it seemed OK and the sandwiches were Freakin huge, just look at the pics on the website.

Clevelander all my life...(East Side, Lakewood, Middleburg Heights)
These are a few of my favorites:

Really Fine Dining: The Baricelli Inn; Giovanni's (both pricey, both great)

Good Italian Food: Guarino's (on the Hill); Maria's (Lakewood)

Good Deli's: Slyman's (east/downtown); Goodman's (Parma)

Steakhouses: XO (Best in Cleveland, I think...Check out their website);
Morton's (Tower City...nice place for a business lunch);
Ferris Steakhouse (West Side...not fancy, but good steaks)

Restaurant: Lolita's is my favorite (Tremont) Run by Michael/"Iron Chef" fame.

Italian Bakeries: Corbo's and/or Presti's (both on the Hill)

Burger/Sandwich: The Brew Kettle (Strongsville); Fox and Hound (Parma)

For sushi in dayton Thai nine is excellent, same with Sima, just befrore you get to Kettering.

We have several good Thai rest, but nothing completely authentis like you will find in Columbus. Also in Columbus, is an ethiopian rest, if yuo are looking for unique dining experience, actually it is more like sitting in a kindergarden classroom with the really small seats. You eat w/o silverware. Basically you scoop everything up with pieces of bread.

El Meson in west carrollton is a fancy not necesarily mexican but spanish speaking country cuisine. It is one of the top rated in town. At lunch it is very affordable, same dishes at dinner are doubled.

Haven't been to the Hot Dog Diner yet traveler, though I drive by it quite a bit. I'm going to have to stop in one of these days. Other people have said it's not too bad!!

Shooter's in the Flats is really good too.
