Laurie64 I don't have a clue why you would want to
move to Des Moines. No offense, but that is where I
was born and raised and it's not the same. Lock your
stuff up I don't care if you're just running in the quick
trip because when you get back it won't be there. I grew up
and continued to live on the south side 6 blocks from southridge
mall. Never seen so much crime in all my years. Now I live in
Indianola, just far enough away from Des Moines to be safe. Not
joking either. Des Moines has turned into a drug, crime ridden of
a city I don't care where you live there. Much worse in West Des
Moines Clive, Urbandale, east side (lot's of vandal's there) North
side drug suppliers, southside a mixture of it all. So good luck to
you if you wind up in Des Moines.

I would probably stay right where I'm at in Burlington. I like the area and some of my family live here or are within an hour of here. Next on my list would be the Iowa City area.

I would probably move to the Cedar Rapids Area. NW Iowa doesn't have alot to offer as far as entertainment and I am not very creative in making my own entertainment. Storm Lake is attracting a LARGE amount of "diversity" (about 55% of kindergarten class is ESL) and I feel like I'm getting lost in the shuffle. I think the Cedar Rapids Area has alot to offer, the shopping is excellent and I imagine the job market would be fairly good. Besides, I have a daughter that lives there. What's the single and 50 market look like?

Probably Des Moines or Council Bluffs. I like it here, but I'm tired of the small town.
