I changed my name, moved 150 miles away from all family, changed jobs, and started a new life. I am alone, but not lonely. I feel better about who I am as a person. And without being conceited, I'm Good. Darn Good.

Mine has improved dramatically! I found myself again. Yeah money is tight...way tight and I live on a shoestring but it is better. One day I was listening to music and it occured to me...I was truly enjoying it. It was like I was hearing it for the first time. When I'm taking a walk, I actually stop to hear the birds sing or to watch the squirrels play. It is the simple pleasures I find joy in. Before my divorce I was so busy trying to fix what was broken I had no time to care about myself and my only joy was my child. Now my child tells me ..mom I've never heard you laugh so much. It's true, the laughter had stopped, the joy of life had been squelched. Now you can most generally see a smile upon my face...life is good. I once was dying...I have renewed life and the opportunity to seek what my heart aches for...a real and true love. I'm very optimistic about my future.

For now I had to put none since I'm still going through the divorce. Reading what everyone has said actually gives me some hope that things will get better for me. I dated my wife for almost 7 years, was married to her for 10 months, and as it turns out 5 months into the marriage she thought it was a good idea to start dating other people (I didn't find out about this till January), so I went from getting ready to start a family to being single for the first time in almost 8 years...blah...I'll be 27 in a few weeks so everyone keeps telling me that i'm still young and have time, but it doesn't feel like that now....heh sorry for being the downer of the tread, but any advice you guys have would be appercaited.
