2 Floors of music..Down stairs starting at 8-830 pm we have a DJ playing the 70's to current fun dancing music plus more We are also looking to do a few fun games..
Upstairs a DJ playing the top 40 hits and hip hop music starts between 9-930pm while you are upstairs Come Ride the Bull. Our last event a lady beat the men.

Stir Crazy is playing there Friday starting at 9pm...Come out and join us...We are totally going to have a ball...They played at Riffe Lake for our big camping trip last July...24 of us from this site were there...Camping and live music an awesome experience...
And may I add we are totally doing the round 2 of Growinroses birthday party there at R & R's Friday night...Round 1 was awesome but round 2 is gonna be even better.

It is canceled...And sorry I did not realize it would offend in any way due to it not being on the same night at all...Sorry wont interrupt your thread s again Keith...Did not mean to offend you or anyone else...Our dancing is canceled due to licensing issues with the new establishment not being ready...

Well I did make it for about two hours and met some people from other groups and no group at all -- but did not bump into anyone from DateHookup (DH). The main level was where all the action was and the upper level with the rap or whatever was essentially empty (just because they only had about 3 types of beer ?). Maybe next time the DH folks can wear a name tag of a different color (or textured for those desiring to use braille).
I congratulate the organizers on such a big and apparently successful event.
A lot of people seemed to be quite enjoying themselves. Also I will watching for future events and hoping for a venue where it is a little easier to interact and not quite so loud. Having not made this kind of scene for over 25 years (actually no dating or hookup scene), I was unlikely to push into various areas of seating to ask for a dance or to try and converse. I mean it seemed a little hard to even make eye oontact in much of that type of layout. Maybe it was just me. It was a fun atmosphere, but also a bit in the way of itself at the same time. The bar scene is ok for me once in a while when dancing is the main objective and, well, it seems there is always room for jello.
Hope to meet some of you next time or before.

The northend has some fun events....Club Broadway just isn't one of my favorite venues for them to be held. Some of their wait staff is pretty rude, and frankly they can't handle the volumne that one of these events can bring. My opinion of course.
Definately not Keith's fault...He does an awesome job putting these together. Not an easy thing to pull off.
