Figure out what you are interested in doing, and find females interested in the same thing. Then you'll feel more at ease discussing a topic with them. Then you can expand your topic matter, and before you know it you'll be talking with more confidence.

Basically what everyone here has been saying is nothing. If someone finds you attractive and you dont talk to them or make some kind of contact you will never benefit.
Dont be shy. Meet someone and then you can go back to being shy if you want.
