Cost of living is cheaper here in NW Iowa, more so than in many other parts of the Nation.
I'm not a representative of the Psychiatric Hospital that I work for. But we are experiencing an employee shortage, and I'm out here pounding the internet trying to get out the word that there are Jobs to be had in Iowa!
The Psychiatric Hospital I work in is seeking to fill 3-4 positions for Psychiatric Nurses Aides. This isn't a job for the faint of heart. You can expect to be threatened and attacked while on the job, though conditions are getting better. I'd like to see some well qualified males or tomboy females come out here and apply for these positions. Starting wage I believe is about $13.00 an hour. But remember the cost of living is lower here too. You get paid vacation, paid sick leave, & paid emergency leave. If you are single they pay for your health insurance too. They have very affordable dorm style housing available on the Hospital campus, which can help you out while you look for a home to rent or buy.
So if you have at least 2 yrs expierence in Patient Care, or a Degree in Health related services you should qualify for these positions. You need to be able to get along with a variety of different personalities, without subcoming to arguements, threats, or back biting.
You might be at a turning point in your life, and looking for a clean start in your life. This might be a good opportunity for you. 3 of the positions are on the overnight shift, and one is on the afternoon shift.

rabiner treatment center huh? i know the ceo of that place..i mow lawns in summer and do snow in winter along with spring fall clean ups tree trimming(light) and bush trimming

I should also note here that the last word I had at CMHI, in Cherokee is there are no longer any jobs available due to a hiring freeze till July 1st.
