Depends on who ya meet, if you meet them in person at least you can see what they look like and get a feel for them.. I have had a few lie about there looks, age, etc....
I dont understand that, especially if they agree to meet, one was like 25, when I showed up, she obviously older than me... Weird is alll..
I think you can have luck online, just have to be more cautious is all, at least until you have met a few times..

I think its better online, this way you know more about them and hopefully can pretty much tell if they are a serial killer or too needy before you meet them. I have been lucky for the most part. Now, if they are lyin', then it doesnt matter where you meet them, ur screwed.

i have to agree whith miko on that 1 i think its better than a bar ,, the store is well hard ,, it is better to know someone a little , blind date is 50-50,, and we wont tal about the rest,, and miko i already looked at your page and now your invisable i feel hurt

Hmmmm, well i haven't experienced internet 'love' or i wouldn't still be here...but i think that this venue is more difficult simply because you don't experience the body language or hearing the tone of voice, etc as in a face to face. Takes a little longer but they are all pretty much the same in the end.

You can find out some things, but I think meeting is the ulitmate equalizer...
AS for divorce, anyone can fake those.... You just have to trust and hope you find an honest person, that only comes from getting to know them...

I prefer meeting people on game sites such as pogo because you can sit back and see their real personality, as opposed to a dating site where everyone is trying to look their best so that someone will hopefully want to get to know them. My true personality it a lot easier to let go online then when I meet someone face to face, but it is a lot easier to read someone in person since you can see how they react to you and see their body language. I prefer to get to know someone before I date them, and I like to take it slow, so I don't go to bars to pick up women. I am very shy so even meeting them any place but work or school is almost out of the question. I wish there were a better way for someone like me to meet singles, but for now I believe the internet is the best way for my protection (of my feelings more so then my physical)
