I'm just curious.... When I search through profiles, I see guys say they are looking for women between the ages of 18-50 or 60.... That is such a big gap... What does that mean?... It seems to me that a guy would have a more defined age range since an 18 year old and a 50 year old are going to have such different personalities and interests. What do ya'll think?

That really bothers me. I mean, Im really young and I have dated older guys, but someone 50 saying they are looking for someone 18-70 seems a little rediculous. But I also believe that a person life experience can be more relevant than their age. Im not saying I know nearly as much as other women, but just because we are young doesnt mean we dont know anything.

You know rocket, you picked a great topic and i absolutely adore you for picking it!!!!!!!!! I would love to comment. Men who are looking for women in the age ranges from 18-50 are pedophiles. It makes me believe they belong in a maximum security prison with the child molesters. That is just nasty. They are old enough to be their daughter. A real man would say they are looking for a female between the ages of 25-45, 50 etc. Forget the teenage years. What the hell are you guys thinking? Don't forget, 18 you are in big trouble too. If we parents are still responsible for our children until they are 21, I would think a little harder on this one guys and move up that age range, that is just disgusting, makes me wanna go powwwwwwwwww

I think that guys are a little less discriminatory about age. Us women know what most guys are like at each age group. And depending on our age (situation), we tend to shorten the age gap we are looking for! I have kids, so I really don't want some young guy who knows next to nothing about raising kids and what a huge responsibility it is. I can't just go party on a moments notice! For me, a guy who is, lets say, 10 yrs older than me is just not for me. My younges is only in Kindergarden and she won't grad high school until I'm 50! I don't want some guy who is in his 60's and doesn't want to do anything! By then, I will really want to do some traveling (at least I hope so)! Just me, but I like guys within a specific age range. Thank you kgearly... I was wondering the same thing. Now I understand why I am having such a hard time finding a date, I am a 50 year old boy! If it isn't one thing, it's another.

It is foolish...I also think it is foolish for ladies to aim 10 years their Jr...yet they do it..and say.."Oh...he treats me like a queen"...yeah..right...see if he's still kneeling at your feet(or other places) in 2 years...

hmmmm but its ok to date a guy 12 yrs younger and be a cougar? wtf? oh and btw...nys law the age of legal consent is 17, whether shes living with her parents or not. just went thru it with my exes daughter and tried to put a guy away that was 29 and she was 17. we couldnt do jack shit.
