Hi everyone,

I've been in hibernation since early November. It's starting to warm up some outside so I need to start getting out of the house.

Who's going to plan the first meet and greet of the year?

Hello sexy Me, do the meet and greet, well maybe if I have help. I read that you got your house. You should have sent a message and I would've come and help. Everyone moving needs at least one person around to cheer them on. Of course I would've brought my son to help do the heavy work.

And what about the house warming party?

Hi Snides

Its been a long winter, to bad we still have another 6-8 before we should put the snow shovels away. We can get late lake effect snow up here in the northern part of the state until mid April.

I'm so gonna move south when I get a chance

Hi, I think that everyone wants to get out. I can't stand the snow or cold. Give us more sun and heat. Time for another meet and greet, maybe more people will come out and play. Have a good day everyone.

Well, I dragged my lazy flabby body out of the house this morning and ran a 5k race through downtown Cleveland (Tower 230 Chili Run). Feeling each and every one of those 30+ winter pounds I put on. I have got a lot of work to do to get into fighting weight for the summer!

So, if there is a meet & greet, let's make sure there is a salad bar!

Kevin

SB let me know when you decide to move the heavy stuff.

Salad bar, I think most of this group would rather just have the bar.

That's right new, bring on the Sun. What do think everyone will want to play?

everyone... I have been very busy at church with Upward basketball since Mid January so no hibernation for me. I did work from home a few days due to the bad weather but the church is almost walking distance so no getting out of that, but I do enjoy this ministry so much... Looking forward to a meet n greet though.

D, good to see you posting again. Yes, I am doing pretty well. Praying for a new job tho. I did interview last week with the county at the juvenile correction center for a deputy clerk's position. They said they would be interviewing for a couple of weeks so I haven't heard back. Hope you are feeling okay now that the weather is beginning to improve.

Would it be really rude to tell ya'll (note the southern ya'll) that it's been in the 70's here this week. I've been wearing short sleeves, the flowers and some of the trees are starting to bloom

Yes but took a vacation day since the boss offered it so having a good weekend. Best 4 wheeling the truck went through. Don`t want to see it much worse however. Don`t think it can take going around the drifts in the ditch like the last one.

goods, it is good to see you posting again.

I sure do miss the south in the winter for sure. Been here now for just over 10 years and I can say my blood has thickened some but all this damn snow and ice I can do without. Fell on the ice and broke my elbow which ticks me off to no end and to beat it all I was putting salt out so it would be safe, lol.

I hope you elbow is healing I can't imagine what a pain that is. Saw cowgirl took one heck of a spill also.
Speedy recovery to both of you.

Yes the weather makes a world of difference, to get up and hear the birds singing is awsome specially since it's still February.

You know what they say, March comes in like a Lion but goes out like a Lamb. The problem this year is that April showers come after March. I wonder if we'll ever have a dry park to meet and greet in.

Never seen our park under water like that and that was after it was down a foot or two. I have never been scared of water on my road before. After seeing them drag the volkswagon out at norwalk I can see the reason. Forgot I was supposed to buy a life raft. Wouldn`t live by a creek for anything.

Don't mind the wet hair look, does it come with the wet t-shirts?

Would like to have 1 meet and greet that we don't get rained out.

I know, we can do it at your house. You did say you'd help me with a meet and greet and a dry location would be a nice way of helping.

Everyone, is a meet and greet at SB's OK, I mean she did say she'd help.

Hey keepronin, you have to be careful with the spelling of some things in this forum. Take for instance Ohiho could be read by some as Oh-I-ho. I'm sure you don't want called that do you?

BTW, welcome to the forums
