I think most people do things for others for a ReaSon but there are some people who do things for otheres for no other reason then it makes them feel good to help out.

Most people do think you want something...
I have two teen age boys  and I hope they remember what I taught them in life, and that is if you see some one in need try to help out the best you can....What comes around goes around.
You all have a great evening, and when some one does something nice for you remember to say Thanks and receive it....

I do things for others because I want to, it makes me feel good and so I guess that is a reason. I don't want anything in return I do what I do just because I want to. Beside most of those people who want something in return are sadly dissapointed.

Yes I sort of automaticlly lend a hand if it isn't difficult and not life threatening . Hold a door or just good manners . You know ~ Do unto others as you would have others do unto you sort of thing .

yup I have felt the need to help others since I was young, I have my moments an I notice how a room can change just by my attitude. If I am having a bad day I notice that I can change someone elses day without trying on purpose. When I wake up an I feel good, I talk to the lonelly lady at the store are help the old man at the door they usually walk away pretty happy. In I have learned that you cant allways please others an when you wake up with the feeling of distruction an fear, The best thing I can suggest is to take a step back an tell yourself this to shall pass an you deserve to be happy. I know it all sounds cheesey, but it works lol!

I do things for others on a daily basis. As pinklady said, it makes me feel good, so there actually IS a reason. Its a goal of mine to make people smile every day.

Well ~ It does serve me well to be cheerfull and open . When I was younger I was shy and it wasn't any fun . As I became more self assurred I naturally became out going . Being out going makes it easier to relate to others ~ Maybe see where a need might be . It might sound "corny" I like the person that I have become .
