How are Christians suppose to treat non-Christians namely in terms of social interaction? Are we not suppose to make friends with them? But then again how would we be around them and be a good influence? These are some questions that deal with the issue.

Jesus hung out with sinners. The key is to keep your guard up as the scriptures warn of a little "leaven". If we can remain chaste from sin, our goal being to convert... well you know the rest, it is where the heart is, my belief.

Hey everyone
My name is Bill. I'm a born again precious child of God. However my walk and my talk have not been in line with what God's word says that they should be. I am new to the whole chat and forum thing. I have been on here for about 2 weeks and found myself going to the 40's singles group , general discussion , and chat forum. I was having a good time making fun of people, adding crude replys to the four and five word stories and basically cutting up with others on these forums. Earlier this week , I felt the conviction of the holy Spirit in my heart telling me that this is not the way I should be acting. Romans 12:1-2 came to mind. Therefore brothers I urge you in veiw of God's mercies to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I have not been doing this. Instead I have been joking about doing the very things that Christ has delivered me from. Drinking, drugs, and sexual imorality. I guess this is my way of making a public confession and repenting. If the world sees me acting just like them while claiming to be a servant of Christ, it makes me a hipocrit and does nothing to build up the kingdom of God. I want to ask any one that I may have offended to please forgive me and pray for me as I will pray, repent, and ask God for forgivness. If anyone is compelled to reply to this message, please feel free to do so. Or if you see d14u2know posted on inapropriate forums, please hold me accountable by e-mail. Thank you so much for letting me spill my guts and may God bless each and everyone of you, Bill

my learning on this subject is that God created all men and woman ,we are all children of God regardless of our past or present sins, but we have choices, some follow God some stray, everyone one on the face of the earth has sinned in one way or another. In order to repent of your sins you must first forgive everyone that has done wrong to you.And I mean everyone such as if someone has killed someone close to you ,you must also forgive them, and I know its not easy and it may take time but God loves everyone good or bad .Everyone has the oppurtunity to go to Heaven even a murder.the way I look at it is that Jesus died on a cross in human form(can you even imagine the faith Jesus had to have in God to endure such a painful event?)to save US of our sins .Now don't get me wrong here Jesus does not condon sinning,he's looking for you to give all yours sins and worries to him so he may destroy them and follow him with your heart, mind, body and soul so you may live your life in his Glory and Holyness.
I know I kinda got off track there but I just felt I needed to share the rest ,I think you are refering to people who do not attend church or people whom you personally don't think are christians so I gave you the extreme case scenerio using a murder and as long as you are not challenged to compromise your religion you should have a good additude and pure intentions to all.

1 Corinthians 5:9-11 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But know I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner- not even to eat with such a person.. read 12 and 13 also, better yet read all of 1 Corinthians..
