I would have listened to my mom too and became a Physical Therapist!
My whole life would have been different and like you wolfy I would have never met
my 'ex' and I would have never married him!!!!!

On the other hand... if we hadn't experienced the pain and drama that the ex's put us through then we would never be able to appreciate all that the new person in our lives now or in the future has to share.

Cajun - I hear what you're saying and to some extent I believe that it could be true.
But I really don't agree with you (which is OK) because without the pain, turmoil and drama
I would have been a much happier person and be living a different life.
Yes the relationships of today and tomorrow may not happen but then again I would not
be in need of them! This would then effect the others persons lives and so on and so on...etc.

Hello LTR.... How are you? I hope all is well since we last spoke.
I actually would not change a thing. Even my mistakes brought me to where I am. If I had not learned from them maybe I would want to go back to avoid them, but not now. With even the worst I would not want to change a thing. I might want to go back to visit to say a few things to people. Like my Dad, Sister, Grand Parents before they died. That is about it though. No changing of my past. Wouldnt want to make it worse or take the chance of not learning what I have learned.

Oh this one is sooo easy.. When I was dating my soon to be ex husband. Something told me to run away because he was so obsessed... So I broke up with him.. Then he just followed me around crying.. He was saying he would die or kill himself if I did not take him back.. He gave me a beautiful ring and I took him back because I thought he really loves me.. He cheated on me...left me when i got sick.. and used me as a damn blow up doll. So there i got it off my chest.. I hope one of his testicles falls off soon...

I'm truly sorry about your experience...sometimes it seems we should have taken the right fork in the road instead of the left, or zigged when we should have zagged in our lives, so to speak...how many times do we here such is the case as you stated with relationships. There are no victims, only volunteers...we don't consciously ask for these experiences naturally, who in their right mind would right?...there are reasons for it all though we may not know what the reason is at the time.
