My uncle died last night and my aunt and father aren't far behind, so I've had a lot to think about. Good thing about it is when we shed this old body here, one day we'll have a new one, a perfect body, free of all the pain and flaws of what we've got now. Next to meeting God and Jesus, that will be the best part of leaving this old earth behind.

Seems that nobody else finds this to be thrilling. A new body, perfect, and a whole new life, an eternal life with all the loved ones who've gone on before.

hi last chance,well im looking forward to new one,had breast cancer 2 yrs ago,am 50 so yes a little to do with that too,but the chemo did a number on me, my legs get so tired now,but Im still working hard 40 hrs a week,but effects me more now than before..but I am so far cancer free,and pray to God daily to keep it that way..but I also might like to have wings,or kinda float around, next time,in my eternal life,as last 30 yrs have allways had a job on my feet(resturant buisness)and be nice to do something different..

Hi 1lastchance-I'm very much looking forward to the new body we will receive when we get to heaven. also wanting to see all of my loved ones who are already there.

Thank you. It's been a long week, with the funeral and all. Haven't been to one since my husband's and it brought back a lot of memories that I thought were behind me. My uncle was a christian and I know I'll be seeing him again some day.

Here we go again. Dad passed out in church this morning and they rushed him to the hospital. Still don't know what happened, but may have been a stroke.
