The post by Winesong was familiar to me as I subscribe to tut.com and each day receive a message from the Universe.
When I was young, I ran across what is still my favorite piece of poetry and whereever I have been my whole life, it has been hanging somewhere on my desk or bulletin board. It is what I as a person perceive to be my own personal dance. I'm am not always successful, but what I feel I do best is try to make a positive difference everywhere I go; like the girls scouts motto is to leave a place better than you found it, mine is as follows:
If I can stop one heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain
If I can ease one life the aching
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

I will bolero with you. That is one sultry awesome dance. Wish you were closer. Meanwhile, i dance wherever, in the store, on the beach, in my head, in my life and on the dancefloor. Wouldn't have it any other way. Enjoyed everyone's reponses.

We each come here to DH for different reasons. We post for fun, we post to disagree, we post to offer advice-requested or not. We post to share our disappointments and struggles, our joys and our concerns.
Thank each of you who have shared the many ways you bring light into the world around you and I eagerly look forward to those that will post here next, for no matter what our job might be, each moment is an opportunity to live life like a dance and pass on the joy.
Sometimes the dance is not joyful. Two weeks ago I worked with someone who had this dark cloud around him. He spewed his negitivity everywhere and seemed angry that I was so happy. The best I could do with him was not to reply in anger or even try to help him see the possitive side of things. For him I tried to understand he must be miserable and I tried not to add to his misery that day so I think patience was my dance at work that day.

I love my job!!! I get paid to tell men where to go Just joking but I do actually do that. I am a truck line dispatcher.... I really do like it allot. I had never done this kind of work until this lasy year and wish I had found one like it years before....It is fast and furious at times and always interesting. The drivers all speak to me very nicely. Of course I always tell them to have a great day. I know what it is like out there on the road for I drove truck for over six years myself. It is not a easy job. I know what everyone thinks well all they have to do is drive. It is very lonely out there. Always gone away from family sometimes for a month at at time and then when they come in just to get a day or two home and then back out for another month. It is important to hear a kind word and a friendly voice.
