hmmmm... I don't know about the first contact thing. I think maybe it might have to do with the profile. I have been on other sites and I have never been contacted first until I got to this site. However, my profile has gone through some big updates. Be honest in it, but give them the info they need. Say what you are really looking for. Be sincere, honest, open. Thats what I tried to do, and I have been contacted by 3 ladies and this is still my first week here. I have also been posting as much as I can... that might be helping too.

Well, I have to be honest here even though some people won't like this answer... (Oh well!) I get a lot of e-mails (and I always respond to them). I'm kind of "old-fashioned" about that kind of thing, so I prefer that the guy makes the first contact. I can't say that I have NEVER made the first contact because there are a few that I did contact when I first got on this site. After that, it seemed like I always received e-mails.

Well doing all of that isn't going to make women initiate the conversation still. There's a general rule for guys; ask out 100 women and 1 of them is bound to say yes. Just prepare for and don't be afraid of rejection

No I never said that. I was just adding more thought to my original reply; you're always going to have to make the first move to initiate things. Even aggressive women won't bother to initiate anything online. I think the reason for this is because there's about a thousand other guys writing the same girls emails and they don't even have time to browse through the regular search engines when there's plenty of guys already interested in them.
