real ... down to earth, and REALLY looking. Just seems like everyone here is looking for a fantasy relationship. Expecting one to fulfill all aspects of what they consider "the perfect one" ... wise up people... no one is perfect. Pretty face, rotten personality. Gorgeous figure, total jerks/jerkettes ... if you are looking for real .. you gotta be real.

LOL. Well, lingu1, I think all the women on here responding believe they are real... but what is your definition of real? We all have our opinions of what it takes to be a "real" man or woman and Once we know what your expectations are you may find what you are looking for...... or not. Unfortunately you left yourself wide-open for a little ribbing. Rethink your question and try again.

Are there any men over 60 looking for a woman same age who is available for dating and companionship? I am just a simple lady, no push up bras, no fancy photos, no revealing clothes, so what you see today is the same thing you will see tomorrow. I am intelligent, retired businesswoman, self sufficient but not taking in a man to support I want a companion not a son................

Interesting trend in logic!
It looks like the consensus of opinion is that respiration and a pulse qualifies the writer as real.
Here's my two cents on this.
It's difficult to be real, in a human sense, in this basically inhuman context.
The 'Net is quite effective at insulating us from each other,
yet is a fantastically efficient networking tool.
Finally, to be relentlessly logical, any woman with a pulse...
who is looking for a man, is both a real woman and is really looking for a man.
Discuss.

All women, and men for that matter, are "real." It is just difficult for us to conform to one's "ideal" perception of what reality is for the one asking the question. Unless you specify exactly "what" qualifications you are looking for in a mate, no one can make the assumption of "what" is or is not "real" for you. Expressing one's self overtly (e.g. interests, dislikes, expectations, etc.) will aid in locating someone of a compatible nature. Most times, a mate will only possess some of the characteristics you are searching for. And, this is "okay" because independence must exist in any relationship. Honesty, trustworthiness, communication, dedication, sympathy, empathy, the ability to share, and intimacy are "real" virtues. Large breasts, green eyes, perfection, fancy cars, full head of hair are not. These are qualities that lead towards a false sense of love, or let's be honest and call it what it is, lust. So, I suppose it is up to the searcher to be honest with the self and identify what he or she really is looking for in a mate before he or she can be honest with the person they are seeking. Does this answer the questions for you?
