Here ya go. Smoking is an addiction to nicotine. When you eat or exert yourself or sleep at night the nicotine levels are lowered. That addiction to the drug makes you want a smoke to get those levels back up to where they are satisfied. Pretty simple when you think of it. We are addicted to a drug and when the level of that drug is dropped, we light up!!

Not only that, but the exertion makes your heart rate rise. A faster heart rate means more blood flowing through the boddy delivering more of the drug in the same amount of time.
