Awww oilman, see there are even a**holes in the forums. don't let anyone steal your joy hon. and when i say that, i'm constantly saying it to myself too. i think you sound like a gentleman and honey good men are EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!! i've met a ton of men who are total a**holes... course i didn't know it until the date. and you know, i feel sorry for them because they are gonna be the ones who find themselves very much alone and to tell ya the truth, i think they are unhappy within themselves and people like that may think they are hiding it but it always shows eventually. you are a handsome man and just know some nice, good hearted gal will come your way and make you the happiest man alive. and by the way, if ya know any gentleman who are lookin for a nice older woman, let me know. LOL

I guess i had a post somehow for debate and i have to reedit.
I was questioning Oilman a little ,and after a few private words,we
came to the conclusion that we both have a good sense of humour.
So here i wish the guy will find some great ladies since he is a great person.

I have seen a few cases when a good guy and gentleman,got dumped
after just a first date.
The reason was ,,he is too nice''.
I have to say it was the case of younger girls.
My oppinion is that in that some just like to experience the bad boys ,before realising that the good ones are worth more.

i totally agree with you. if they are young woman, yes, some of them do want to experience the bad guy. there's something sexy about the bad guy that turns woman on. i've been there when i was in my 20s, but learned quickly that they aren't the ones for me. i want sweet, gentle and caring, true blue guys. i met a guy that told me he cries and i found that to be so appealing because he actually showed his true feelings. unfortunately, he disappeared the next day and i haven't heard from him since. poor me or lucky me? guys, what do you think?

Funny how people are so shallow now days. Speaking of the above mentioned crier, theres nothing wrong with it, but, theres still a user in every bunch. I personally feel a guy that cries and disappears is a child, regardless if tears. Im SO TIRED OF SHALLOW WOMEN. I live and work close to a college town, so I guess thats the price I pay.

 Seems anymore, guys all start out to be Mr. Nice or Mr. Wonderful, we start to fall for this guy, he knows it than does a complete turn around into Mr. A$$hole. When some (not saying all) guys know they have become the center of your world and know your not going anywhere, they go out looking for something "better", and keep stringing you along until they find that greener grass and your ass gets dismissed. Women really do get tired of the a$$holes and want to find a true gentleman, but its those gentleman that are next to impossible to find.
Than those of "us", I think mainly me, attract only such jerks. I have asked some of my real close male friends I work with, what about me attracts such guys. The answer I got was because I am very outgoing, have a sense of humor and get along with anyone that everyone attracts to me. I want to de~magnitize the loser magnet and find someone worth my while.

Well....you call these people "girls". "Girls" rarely really know what they want...they are young and still rife with hormones not yet kept in check.

Wow, so much good advice from all these good folks. All I can say from my experiences is that just be yourself. If someone doesn't like you for who you are than you probably don't want to be with that person anyway. One other bit of advice, I think most women like to be with someone who has a great sense of humor & also has confidence. Well, I wish you the best & I'm sure you will meet someone who is just as kind of a person as you are and it will happen when you least expect it.
