Let me say that I really enjoy this site as well as board...but I gotta tell you. What is with ladies on here who say that they want something real and longterm when they turn around and play the biggest mind game in the world. It sickens me to see that ladies tell you they want something real but yet turn around and never follow through. For example, I thought I had found someone real on here...so I sent them a wink. They responded back. Then we got to know each other a little bit online as well as talked on the phone. Then she tells me that she wants to meet me. So we agreed to meet last Thursday. I tried reaching her for 3 days prior to meeting to make sure everything was still a go and no answer. I left her messages as well as sent her messages through DateHookup.dating which were marked read. So what am I supposed to think now?? She got cold feet???
Bottom line is that if you are someone out there who is looking for that special someone, then this would be a great start here at DateHookup.dating. But if your not, stay the hell off the board as well as the site. Its so disrespectful to see mindgames on here especially when we are all adults.
Any ladies like to chat with someone real and wants to be appreciated and respected, hit me up and lets mark a starting point to a new friendship.

Hi Andrew, I am sorry that she treated you that way... she obviously chickened out but she could at least have sent you an email. Damn I sent this guy an email that stuck me with my bill after he invited me out. Had I had balls when I saw him I would have kept on going but would still have sent him an email... But no I parked and went in. It took him 30 minutes to come around and by then I had already ordered my food. He didn't dress to his best I don't think. And I knew after seeing him and especially after sticking me with my bill why as he said never got past that initial date... he had been on this one site for two years. That should have been a red flag for me but no... I mean he was kind of boring on the phone. But I still gave him a chance. I sent him that email which he didn't respond to and I didn't expect him to but several days later.. long enough to not expect to hear from him again he called. Apparently he wasn't thinking there. There was nothing left of this connection. My email stated that if he wanted to get past the first date/meeting that when he suggested a place to meet and he can't afford to pay for the food ( my food was under 5.00) then perhaps he should have said coffee or meet at a place like a park. No food there and we were meeting during the lunch hour. I guess he didn't connect the two. You sound like a nice guy and you will find someone. I wish you the best. Lena

Dont let one bad apple spoil the whole pie for you.. push on.. it is apparent that she had issues she was not ready to, or mature enough to deal with. You behaved in the appropriate fashion.. she is HER OWN problem, not yours.. just keep your chin up.. and treat those they way you want to be treated and good things will come your way.. I promise.

From what i've heard of alot here lately, is this is a common practice, i have to surmise that there are alot of people who partake on the cyber part of this type of thing for it works as a big ego booster, makes them feel popular and or even wanted by having a page full of friends and and inbox full of e-mails, with no real intentions of truly hooking up with anyone at all. People get alot of strange stimulation off of many types of venues on the internet, i figured coming on to this site, most are not going to be the real deal, and i beleive that to be more true of those who never visit the forums, want you to go to "my space" and other modes of IM..... it's some kind of wierd fetish almost anymore to have a bunch of " on line " friends,,me being old school finds this thing rather bizarre and out of touch with reality, but it seems to be the thing with many who are on the computer for many hours. There are real deal people on line too, but they are the few in comparison, realize that this is " cyber world" not the real world, and look for the signs of those who are here for the same things you are. It's usually pretty clear pretty quick.
