Well...thats something to think about...For myself I've been to alot of places.
In some states you can be stopped at a stop light and have people walking up to your cars,at first it kinda annoyed me when you get these guys walking up to you.
But then there's family's that have been thru hell..... for the most part I think its very sad to see them sitting out in the cold no home no nothing.I'll admit for the most part I do drive right on by at a stop light, when you see them sitting on the corner.....but there is something inside you that knows..they are loking at you even tho your not looking at them.
Sometimes I see men holding up things that say american vet please help...now that makes me wonder...are they just using those words so people will give them money.....
And then we have families.....for myself I know I wouldn't pass them up I duuno Its very sad on both sides men ,women and children, that a person may never be warm, and never have food or clean clothes.
I do pray for them and I hope at least a few have found some type of happiness......

make them work and build civic projects. In return they get shelter, food, education and small pay. Rehabilitate them but until then they gotta work or get fed to sharks.

I'm kinda torn...
For the most part, I feel completely sorry for homeless people. Often they're victims of harsh circumstances, and being homeless leaves you pretty much screwed... obviously you can't afford a home, but to get the money to afford a home, you need a job, but in order to get a job, you need a home where you can be contacted for interviews and such. I feel very, very blessed that I have always had a home and a caring family, and my heart aches for those who don't have such things which most of us take for granted.
On the other hand, there are those who are homeless because they screwed up their own lives with drugs or alcohol or whatever, and people who would abuse charities without a moment's hesitation or regret.

one question how r u homeless and on the internet.....just wondering......uhmm, well,my whole take on the homeless is some people need a push,a hand, some one to care.I dont mind helping out anyone that needs it as long as I can see them try to help themselves.Sometimes life hands u the wrong deck of cards, its up to u to take them and do the best u can.Hope i gave a lil advice ao a little push,God bless.

Okay I am goin to school right now for social work...I am learning a lot of things...one of them is to not be so judgemental or quick to it...we review the poverty statistics and it's amazingly devastating. And everyone has their own story...so my question is to u sir...yr 21 yrs. old, what's yr story? did anyone see that story on that guy who graduated from college, moved to a different city with only like $100.00 to see how far he could get in one years time? and he did it..with help from other people (shelters and state provided assistance, whatever, and there is help out there for men and men without children) but most importantly MOTIVATION! I moved into a shelter with my two kids...fully expecting to stay there for a month...i was out in two weeks, into a nice apartment supporting my kids ON MY OWN...no help from dad and no help from state. I had a job, that's what helped me..i work full time i go to school part time, i work opposite shift as my kids..i miss them...but this is for them. You can get yrself out of this...it's going to be hard but u CAN do it. don't get comfortable in that situation....sorry so long...
