it does not matter what race he was. as long as jesus loves you why should his race matter the bible discribed how he looked...
i think its easy to say it doesnt matter when in ur heart u know the images u see are of a jesus that looks like u.
in my theology class the teacher said that the paintings we see of jesus with blue eyes and brown or reddish hair are very recent dating only from 600-800's where they were painted by the monks in ireland. ethiopian pictures are even older and look totally different.
