Thank you so much guys - I just love your honesty. The reason I am asking is because I am the most curious person and in the real world no-one talks about these things. I am been thinking about getting my tubes tied but some women are telling me you can still fall pregnant. I was nearly booked to have it done and now I'm wondering if it's worth it. So if a man has "the snip" it is a more definite way to ensure no unexpected pregnancies by the sound of it.

Had it done two weeks after my twin boys were born back in 99. Best move I've ever done, and I learned a new way to use bags of frozen peas after the surgery.

I had two daughters from my first marriage and had it done. I went through a divorce and met my second wife who was still wanting children.
I went for the reversal after 10 years of disconnection (the snip is nothing! try hooking them back up again - that hurts!). I had another daughter and son from my second marriage that has since ended.
No regrets! I have four beautiful children that are everything to me

Hey flowergirl I got my tubes tied almost 5 years ago, and haven't gotten pregnant yet, Maybe Lucky? The doctor burned the ends so I can not get pregnant. Loving it. Take Care

I had it done after my second son was born. I only wanted two children and had two in 13 months so just did it. Many woman have side effects on the pill and was easy for me to do. Was one of the best things I ever did. Have had too much fun and at least I don't have to worry if she is on the pill or not. No effect on sex life or the amount of ejaculate at all........well I could say sex life is much better....... shooting blanks but more of them!!!!!

everybody dude I have ever heard of that gets snipped winds up gettin divorced after his wife starts cheatin on him ....
women need testosterone and will go looking for it if their man don't have it so no way .....

I had it done way, way back in 1960, before it was really common. Had 3 kids in rapid succession and didn't want any more. No pain and no regrets.

Getting fixed didnt kill my sex drive, it boosted it. In knowning I shoot blanks is a great thing, but being carefull of STDs is still very important.
