There will be an Air show at Barksdale Air force base this Saturday and Sunday the gates will open at 9 am to 5 PM. There will be a free shuttle bus from the the First Baptist Bossier stating at 9 am on the 10th. On the 11th it starts at 9 am Bossier Civic Center both days it goes until 5 PM. The Good ole Navy Blue Angels will be there along with the Amy Golden Knights, Shockwave Jet Truck, Mig 17 and Vintage war birds. Nope I am not in this for anything other then give y'all something to take your Mom to for Mothers day  or take your family to. Being I am new here I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you there!

I love the Air Show...
But it is Mother's Day weekend..Going
to Monroe...
Oh well, enjoy it...I know you will! lol
Never seen a show that was not good!

hi davids! monroe used to have air shows a long time ago. so i'm gonna look into this on the website. do you know how much it costs to get in? btw. riverboat fest. in columbia on may 17nth. take 1-20 east. take columbia exit on your right. go down us 165 and it will lead you into columbia. i think it costs around $3 to get in. from 8 or 9 to 5.

Hi College thank you for the the informaton on the riverboat fest I might make will have to check the on-call duty list and see if I have on call that week. As for the airshow it is free to get in.

Oh forgot lol as for the weather they say it will rain on Saturday not Sunday. And I would like to say Happy Mother's day to all you Mom's out there I hope it is everything as as special as you are!

i'll be there. a judge friend of mine and some of his friends are riding down. so come on down and have some fun! it is the birth place of late La. Gov. John J. Mckeithen and his family lived and are buried. Hogan Plantation is where they lived.
