The only true way I have found is to just go ahead and BE totally obvious and take that risk of the feeling not being reciprocated, which is not to say you have been made a fool of...just that you have been honest with yourself and with him...the worst that can happen is that he steps back for a minute or for a long time, but at least you let him know...go ahead...DO IT!

I know that if a woman wasent right upfront with her intrest it probly would fly right over my head. Dont wory about lookin foolish be yourself and just say hay I like ya how about a cup of coffee. I know that would be the highlight of day or even year. so good luck

Maybe it depends on what you are interested in. If it's his bod, be the sexy girl you are and give great eye contact, slight smile or easy going talk about what you think he's into. Some guys like sports, some like adventure, others prefer work oriented stuff. Look at him. What do you see? Talk to him about that with your voice or your body language. Guys aren't that unbrilliant. (Not a word, I think) But I'm a lesbian so what do I know?

Foolish you say......hmm I think it would be foolish not to express yourself ya never know he too may share the same feeling and having the same problem express it as well if not so be it just say Next....and move forward. Good luck...trust your inner feeling too..never be afraid of being rejected they get that all the time too..could also me a blessing. Just don't lose a good friend in the process !!

hmmm... just how many times have I approached a woman for a dance to be turned down. Knowing everyone in the place are watching you get shot out of the saddle. Do you sulk, run to the bathroom, leave? Heck no. Go back and ask her AGAIN and AGAIN til she accepts!
Like campin said, most of us, you have to be really direct to us guys. Not that we are hardheaded, just a little bit gun shy. I think you can start a chat, conversation, and drop hints until he gets the idea. Go for it.

It's never foolish to show someone how you feel, trust your feelings and go for the GUSTO. Other wish you'll never know, you may miss out on a good thing. If he does't feel the same way, no loss you may have met a new friend. Enjoy life and take chances. Good Luck

as people here know i talk a lot  i'm just a friendly person. if i was interested i would treat him like i would anyone else and talk about something light, depending on where we were. if shopping it might be about the price of something or something new in the store, or tell him that this item is better than that one, or the weather, or something nice that he's wearing or the haircut. but these arent things i just say to guys i'm interested in, i say things like that to people of either sex that i meet during a day. i think if people practice being friendly all the time, to many people around them, then it becomes natural and there's not as much pressure if its a girl or guy u are attracted to.

As the other guys have said we just do not get subtle hints. On the other hand if you come right out and tell us something relational we get that deer in the headlights look and might flee. The options is to hang out and wonder or to step out and know for sure. If he flees it will save you time that might have been wasted while Mr. right walks by.
