Ahh come on, even u've lived here enough to know that when spring/summer is finally here no one is at their computers ... its only when we are hibernating from the cold winter that we sit down to our computers. GO OUT ENJOY THE SUN AND WARMTH!!!

yeah I know,but with price a gas who can afford to do anything but work,ya know. besides Ive been in Fairbanks now 6 months,still really dont where nothin is cause cant afford to go anywhere with the price a gas,geez gettin dang crazy,my truck gets about 8mpg my bike about 80mpg but still dont really go nowhere,just me maybe I suppose,grew up in and around the woods in SE,northern BC,and NWT so might take a bit to adjust I guess,lord knows I have enough patience,heck I was married for 15 years.

Well I don't think Gas prices will stop most of us to get things done before winter hits again. I mean, I can only say for myself, I spent way to much time inside during the winter this past year. I am not going to be inside now. Plus I need to make my extra money now while the tourist are here.
There is fishing, gathering, canning, drying, freezing, all that work to be done.
So I doubt many of us will be here much.
But welcome to DH. Hope you enjoy your time here.

I am with you rains.....A lot to be done after regular employment and the best work ever is at home of taking in what we have to savor during are short seasons. LOL been called the Martha Stewart of Alaska........HATE THAT !!!!!!! THE B*^#!# But I do understand what they mean so allsgood.
