I'm recently separated from a long term marriage and haven't dated for a really long time so be patient with me.(The last time I dated, I looked like Eric Foreman from "That 70's Show")
I'm self employed and work out of my home so my time is as flexible as I need it to be. I'm a pretty outdoorsy type. I like to hike, bike, canoe and cross country ski among other things.
I'm a golden rule kind of guy and always ask myself how the other person might feel or react to something I might do or say. A harsh word or caustic comment is like toothpaste squeezed out of a tube, really hard to take back.
I have a collection of eclectic European cars and a motorcycle that I do most of my own work on.
I love to cook all sorts of cuisines, everything from a killer curry to Wiener- schnitzel mit Rotkohl und Rotkartofeln (extra points if you know what that is).
I'm not at all religious but I am very reverential about the world around me. My goal right at the moment is not to rush right into another serious relationship immediately, but just to get to know someone and spend some fun time doing stuff together without any pressure. Of course all that could change in a fool's instant if the right person happens along.
