I'm a cool laid back cat. I don't dig drama in any form (unless it is on stage at the Goodman). I am into hip-hop (the entire culture not just rap), the arts, I perform rap and poetry, I love to read, listen to music (rap, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, blues, etc.) I love philosophical discussions. I have revolutionary politics (I'm not on some bomb threat stuff, I just want freedom, justice, and access to resources for all people regardless of race, sex, or class). I work with youth and love kids, but don't have any of my own, nor do I want my own at this time. As much as I love kids, I want to have my own adult time. Many people with kids go to work in an adult world, my work is in the kid world, so please understand. I like dining out and movies, but can just as easily find joy in a "no-budget evening" (a nice walk, cooking together, talking, making love, and cuddling). I am loyal, faithful (I have NEVER cheated), respectful, considerate, and easy to get along with. I do however enjoy a good debate, and can be firm in my convictions and position on an issue, but I'm always willing to listen to another opinion. At this time I have to honest, I am looking for a less serious relationship that is more physical. I am ultimately a long-term type of guy, but at this point out of fairness to the women who take an interest in me, I am looking for a lover. I am at a crossroads in my career. In a year I may find myself back in graduate school, or in Japan. But I am always open-minded and if you are the woman I want to spend my life with, plans can change.
