Boating, Fishing & Hunting –
I like riding in boats of all kinds but don’t own more than a canoe.
Catch all the fish you want; I prefer to take a camera along and catch my fish on film. I can also take a book along, and laze a day away reading and riding the water’s currents while you have fun fishing.
I’m not a hunter myself, but have nothing against anyone who is. The meat we eat comes from somewhere, right?
Guns & Boots –
Have a couple guns and am a pretty darned good shot. How about you?
Can throw pretty darned good, too, even if I am a ‘girl’. I can smoothly toss a Bud Light from the cooler to your lap, even if you are 25’ away. Of course, I can do the same with a bottle of water or a can of soda; your choice.
Boots, sneakers, sandals, whatever – Depends on what I’m doing as to what I’m wearing. How about you?
Pick-up –
Yes, I think your pick-up’s sexy. I love riding in pick-ups but have an auto myself.
And I do like to be picked up and have doors opened for me on dates. Hey, I kept a few old-fashioned tendencies.

Home Cooked Meals –
You cook? Wonderful! What’s your best ‘quick and easy’ dish to cook?
I like sharing kitchen duties. Fixing a meal with someone, radio on in the background, easy conversation flowing…ah, now that’s a nice time.
We all have our likes and dislikes; but if your dislikes list is longer than your likes, we’ll have problems.
Laughter, Humor & Smiles –
Oh, these are ‘must haves’. Life’s too short to be unhappy. If you can find the humor in any situation, you can get through it.
Laugh with me, not at me, and I’ll do the same for you.
Give me that smile from across the room that says you are glad to be sharing time and space with me; that makes my knees weak.
Cheap Date –
I would rather you spent your time and effort on me than your hard earned greenbacks.
I don’t need 4 star restaurants and cruises to unknown places. I have been places, I can go places without you.
Take me for a drive and show me a great sunrise after a wonderful night together.
Brave –
Brave, loyal, true, considerate, honest, caring, tender, thoughtful. Do these define you? Honesty and thoughtfulness cannot be stressed enough. They are the base of any good relationship.
Dancing –
I don’t care if you do have 2 left feet; I like a turn or two on the dance floor. We can take it slow and easy, or really get out and show our moves.
If you’re not a dancer, I don’t mind sitting out most of the songs; but take me for a spin a few times and I’m a happy camper.
At home, turn the lights down low, light a candle or two, turn the radio on, and just sway with me for a while. Now, we’re cooking.
Camp –
I’ll hike trails through the woods all day, but at night I want a few amenities: a shower to get all cleaned up in, a room with heat & a/c, and a clean comfortable bed to sleep in.
Camper: yes. Motel: yes. Tent on the ground: no, not for a few decades.
Dolls –
I didn’t play with them much as a kid, and I didn’t grow up to be one. If you’re looking for Barbie Doll Arm Candy, she’s in another profile, not here. I’ve got a few bumps, bruises and battle scars from a life being lived to the fullest. I don’t want a Ken Doll Arm Candy for myself, either. I prefer that lived in look.
Hard Worker –
I can play just as well as I can work. I may look like something the cat dragged in after working in the garden or yard all day. Give me less than an hour and I’ll be squeaky clean, all primped, decked out, and ready for a nice time. How about you?
