About Me:
I am a bit off the wall at times, since I have a definite wild and crazy streak, but I usually keep it under tight control. I can still act immature when I want to, but I know when to behave *LOL* and it is more of an "enjoy life" philosophy than a behavior. I am now going back to school to re-take my science courses so I can apply to Med school. I almost went to UMass Worchester back in 1986 until I discovered my former girl friend Deb was already up there, It is a long story. I am ever hopefull there is another girl out there who is my "soul mate", if such a thing exists, but after all these years I am losing my optimism. If a girl can see past the "rogue" in me *L* she will find a really sensative guy with a large capacity to care and I have some tough outer defenses, but there is still a puppy behind the Wolf.
I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2003, all 2174 miles. I started on Mt. Springer in Georgia on April 2, 2003 and finished on Mt. Katahdin on October 19, 2003. Along the way I fractured about a dozen metatarsals in both feet and had to walk the remaining 1400 miles in pain, Oche! (I guess that says something about me depending on how you look at it, I am either very determined or very foolish *L*).
Who I'd like to meet:
A girl worthy of being a Princess and that is what I will make the right girl (OK, a minor Princess, but that is a lot better than just "Mrs" *LOL*). I am looking for a girl who is highly intelligent, loyal, sensitive and caring, somewhat ambitious, is open minded, has a conscience, is philosophical, and is constantly growing spiritually and intellectually. She needs to be in at least average shape so she can hike with me. This special girl should like at least some stuff like hiking, canoeing (kayaking), camping, interesting adventures and nature in general. Long walks in the mountains or along the beach, looking up at the stars, sitting in fields full of fireflies, listening to crickets or a babbling brook, holding hands in the moonlight, cuddling around a campfire. I can not promise endless romance because that is just not the way life is, but a few days a month go a long way in a relationship. She does not have to be perfect! Although, the closer the match the better. While I would like to be with a girl with an advanced degree, I would be just as interested in a girl who was still in school, provided her long term goals are to continue her education and I could probably help the right girl get through many of her science courses (it could be a lot of fun too!). She should not have any really bad habits like chain smoking, drugs, heavy drinking (A drink here and there is fine), collecting insurance on dead husbands, etc.
