Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a 40 yr old black male new to the area. I transferred with my job and am looking for new people to meet and show me around as I am here now and don't know anyone or any good places to hang out in the area. What a great way to get to know someone and have a date without dating I figure?
I have read a few of the ads here and even responded to some, but due to some prior interactions with fake men, or men that hurt them, alot of women here are gunshy, understandably. This has me wondering are there any females on here that are willing to give a shot to a professional, attractive black male for some conversations and interactions?

Just wanted to add something. To a lot of the women, it may not be a big deal sending someone an email or IM here. To me it is. I feel like if I take the time to send an email or IM then the people receiving it should at least take the time to reply. Even if its "not interested". Its common courtesy. If someone spoke to you in public, would you just outright ignore them? Ladies im not a thug, dont speak ebonics and have no desire to get a grill.
I am college educated, military veteran and know what I want out of my life. That doesnt mean I have "soldout", it just means I know when to have class and when to flip the script.
