Overall, I'm a nice guy. The kind of guy your mom will love (as long as you don't tell her *all* the details) and your friends will be jealous of. I'm sarcastic, laid back and fun. I do have my devilish side.. mischievous with a dark sense of humor.
I don't take life too seriously, though I am responsible enough to take care of the things in life that need tending to. You know... career, my own place, car, a couple bucks in the bank, knowing how to cook, clean, bake, iron.. that kind of thing.
I'm looking for someone who's going to spark with me. I've been on quite a few dates in the past few months and while I've enjoyed their company, there has been nobody who's really grabbed my attention and caused me to sit at my desk at work and daydream about when we'd get together next.
Someone recently asked me what "Sparks" me, so here goes:
It's a combination of things.
First, she has to be smart.. not necessarily book smart, but I like witty banter back and forth with someone. I've been told I've got one-liners for days. When you have to stop to explain your jokes.. they're just not funny. So someone who gets my sense of humor and can throw it back.
I'm a ballbuster. The only people I don't make fun of are people I don't like, because that usually turns ugly. So for someone to spark with me, she's got to dish it right back at me and have enough confidence to roll with it.
Of course, there's a physical layer to it. I'm not a supermodel and I'm not looking for one... well, ok, I'm not *ONLY* looking for one.  I tend to like taller girls, athletically built with some great curves, dark hair and light eyes. Not requirements, but that's just the kind of girl who grabs my attention in a crowd.
Finally, she's got to have her shit together. I'm not looking to get married right away.. but something long term is the idea. I tend to be attracted to "type A" girls who have careers and long term plans (which are different from long term dreams).
