To tell the truth I was so busy raising my daughter that I did not take time to figure out who would be there to talk to after she flew the nest. I am now working at finding myself and growing socially. This is tough to do out here in the country, but with a little help from cyberspace I hope to fill the void.
Work with developmentally disable people in a community living residential facility. Have been there for ten years and worked in several areas.(resident housemother, administrative, workshop, and day program) At this time I am the dining room hostess and I also teach a class on Circles which is about relationships and how you talk, touch and trust. I recently decided to volunteer with Rainbow Riders which gives lessons to disable people to ride horses. I lead the horses or spot the rider during their lessons.
In my time away from work I enjoy spending time with family, watching reality TV for example Big Brother, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Beauty and the Geek, Top Model, Biggest Loser and Last Comic Standing. Like watching X-Games and other sports competitions. Participate in dancing and attend local singles dance.
