Hello!
I am a 48 year old divorced southern lady that lives in upstate NY. I am a former army wife, so I have lived all over the U.S. I am originally from South Carolina, my parents are from North Carolina and Tennessee. So, even though I have not lived in the south for many years, southern blood still flows in my veins.
I have an outgoing personality, but at times I can be quiet and kinda shy. I do not play games with people, nor do I like for people to play games with me. At the present time I guess you can say I am taking the world by its horns. By this I mean I am going back to college and I am working on my bachelor's degree. Two more semesters and I will have my BA degree, then I am going to go for my Master's degree. My 2 sons are grown and gone, now it is my turn to do as I want.
I am a member of DateHookup.dating because #1- I work and study a great deal of the time, which leaves me no time to look for the "Crystal Clear Knight" of my dreams. #2- I live in a small town where there are just mainly young US Army soldiers. I raised my 2 sons, I do not want to raise someone elses son also.  lol.
What am I looking for in a guy? Well......for starters...you must be genuine, you can't be fake or a wanna-be-man. You must be warm, caring, giving, taking, loving, understanding, gentle, romantic, considerate, stable, confident, and adventurous. A glass half full type of guy. Also I do not have any past relationships of which I am mourning over, and I hope you don't also. I believe in leaving the past in the past where it belongs.
I love to travel, sight see, play on the computer, watch good movies, cuddle, sit by the fireplace, and go for long walks. My favorite type of movies are comedies and drama. My favorite seasons are summer, fall, winter and spring. All 4 seasons bring something special to people lives. I love to make people laugh. I think there is way too much unhappiness in the world.
