My name is actually Glen and I am looking for a compatible, friendly woman that would enjoy doing things. I'm a very "outdoors" person. I don't mind doing just about anything (Staying at home and watching a movie or socializing with friends.) as long as I don't have to do it all the time.
I'm an excellent cook, I do drink socially and like wine with meals, I don't smoke. I would prefer a friend that does not smoke but I'm reasonable about it. I'm very even tempered and rarely get angry at people. Politics can be a different issue so I try to ignore as much as possible.
I work a lot of hours often from 5 AM to 6 PM. I can do just about any kind of work technical, retail sales, contracting...etc. I also get to take a lot of time off. I generally spend at least 30 to 50 days a year camping, climbing, hiking, rafting or recouping from doing all those other things.
I'm 55 years old and hoping to stay in reasonable health. I have a good sense of humor; I'm told I'm funny and very intelligent. I was once a massage therapist but I moved to Alaska for five years and let my license lapse. My mother was a chiropractor and my father was an electrical engineer. (Both parents have passed on.)
I was married once for 16 years but I have no children. I have been divorced for 7 years and there are no strings attached. I have three younger sisters that live in either Arizona or Alaska. I am a third generation Arizonian and I now live near enough to Mount Lemmon, in Tucson, Arizona that it only takes me 45 minutes to be at the very top 9,200 feet.
I love the outdoors and the pine trees are my favorite place to camp. I love the great scenic views from MT Lemmon and there are some very good private camping spots during the weekdays and summer evenings. If you would like more information about me drop a line or give me a holler. --ghd
